Drive Smart

The fuel economy or mileage of your car can actually depend on your style of driving. There are driving tricks which can increase your overall mileage considerably. For example in city traffic too much gear shifting can cause more fuel loss. It is sensible to kill the engine if the halt is for ore than three minutes. If the stoppage time will be less that 3 minutes than killing the engine and a sudden start up consumes more fuel. It is advisable to drive at a continuous speed on a high gear to increase mileage. The mileage also increases with sound gear shifting at low rpm rather than shifting at high rpm.
